MAC Haul and Pigments

Another trip to MAC today, with my mum, who I introduced to the world of the MAC palette and pro shadow pans. She bought herself her first 4 pan palette and two shadows... It was a proud day!

I bought the following;

1.Paint pot in 'Rubenesque' - a gorgeous peachy gold colour, which I couldn't resist, even though I intended to get painterly... Another haul for another day maybe? This is amazing as a base under the pigments I bought...

2. 217 brush

3. 210 eyeliner brush

4. Shadow pan in Typographic - just a dark grey I thought would be more subtle/easier to blend than carbon...

5. Pigment in Pink-Bronze

6. Pigment in Blue-Brown

So apologies for the extremely bad picture quality - I tried closer up, flash, no flash, but my camera is just not good with this sort of thing!
These pigments are so gorgeous, the blue-brown in particular is such an unusual colour, just as it sounds a mixture of brown and blue colours, but also seems to have like an orange shimmer.
So, this is actually the first time I've bought pigments - you get so much! I will never ever use these up but I'm so pleased I bought them.
What are your favourite pigments and how do you like to use them? I want to add to my collection so I'm looking for some ideas!

I know what you mean, I felt like that the first ime I went, just take your time looking and don't be pushed into anything by the MUA's... They are there to help you! Ask for samples as well if you are not sure of anything! xxx

Great haul! I laughed about you and your mom because I just introduced my Aunt to the world of MAC & Benefit when we went shopping last weekend. I think she may be hooked;)
On your next trip, do pick up Painterly. I use it a lot. Although, I did recently pick up soft ochre (yellow undertone) which suits me better but both work well!

My camera is rubbish for this stuff, has no MACRO feature on it. However my other half ha a posh camera (its his hobby) and he has taken some better pics which I will post soon!
AESTHETICCOO - I got my mum hooked on high end makeup a couple of years ago, but she usually buys most stuff from prescriptives and clarins, only recently got her into MAC... She's very pleased with her palette though lol xxx
