So we have established my camera is pretty rubbish - it has no macro feature or anything. Luckily my other half's hobby is photography so he's taken some better ones for you all to see the pigments and colours a bit better!

Hi llyangel - it does look quite a darkish colour in the picture - in reality it had a kind of mahogany colour brownish red base with blue reflects throughout... Applied to the skin it has a duochrome effect and looks brown in some light and blue in other lights so across your eye you get like a spectrum effect... That's the best way I can describe it!
Ohh I love Blue Brown pigment! It's got a poor reputation on MUA but i adore it, good choice :)
@stefanie - I know, and I don't understand why, just shows you have to try things yourself and only rely too much on reviews!
