Hairspray is hairspray is hairspray? Thats what I always thought. I eschewed the claims of others that Insette was the greatest thing to come in aerosol form. More fool me!
I recently had a horrible haircut "inflicted" on me. Everyone else tells me its fine, but to me, it is a mumsy disaster, and seems to be the perfect length to make my face look perfectly circular. I really dislike it. And as a result I tie it up. Quite a lot. Problem is, the pesky layers are all flyaway and insist on blowing about like some sort of comb-over. Not a good look.

I picked this up because I needed a handbag sized spray for a day in London. I have always avoided the Lady Elnett with her lovely 80's style bouff.... not something I look to emulate...
I picked the extra strenght hold with shine protection formula;

I avoid hairspray but I might give this one a whirl. I like the idea of a product that gives shine:) xx
i love elnett even though when i overuse it i cant catch my breath from the fumes lol - it never makes my hair sticky or dusty when i brush it out either
Oh I was going to do a post on Elnett Flexible Hold (the white can) next week in my 'Handbag essentials' series. It's a miracle spray! I've repurchased month after month after month for years! Love it! x
Yes! I got some Elnett about 3 months ago and I have never loved a hairspray as much as I do my Elnett. I have really coarse, thick hair and this keeps it under control and makes it shiny, not greasy or flaky and hard.I have the Strong Hold and it keeps my teased styles under control on even windy days. I know some people don't like it but I love the smell too.
This is one of those products/brands that always gets good reviews and I always hear it's peoples favourite product but never tried it, I didn't realise they did small ones, so I might have to give it a go :)
Elnett is fantastic, but i do wish they'd update the packaging..it does look sooo dated lol.
Best hairspray ever!!! Been using Elnett for years, have tried other hairsprays but always go back to this one..... :0)
Never tried Elnett before, I'll have to see if they sell it where I live in Aus. That combover pic made me LOL
I loathe hairspray with a passion (I'm one of those people who always have their hands in their hair). The only product I ever use these days is a bit of wax and that maybe a couple of times per year.
But I've heard great things about Elnett and should I ever have to purchase hairspray I might give it a try. Isn't it supposed to smell especially foul, though? And if so: does the scent linger?
