Following my recent reviews of the Vichy skincare line I was contacted again to test some products for acne prone skin from the La Roche-Posay skincare line. The product offered is not available yet in the shops, but launches soon.
La Roche-Posay is a newly revamped french skincare line - you can check out their website here. The entire range is based around exclusive spa waters which are rich in minerals, and makes them ideal for use on skin with a range of issues of sensitivity
Myself and La Roche Posay are looking for two willing volunteers to test this new moisturiser out - it is called Effaclar Duo;
"Effaclar Duo is a complete skincare solution to act simultaneously on blackheads and red pimples, the two signs of imperfection prone skin that is most common in young adults and teenagers, These mixed imperfections are a result of build up of dead skin cells on the skin surface obstructing pores and pimples are caused by bacteria build up inside the pore. Can be used on the entire face morning and/or evening. Paraben free."
We'd like our two volunteers to try the product for 3-4 weeks and then write a guest review for us on how the product worked for you, which will be published on here - if you are interested, then please leave a comment below, and the two people picked (if the response is high, I will use randomnumber.org to help me pick) will be announced tomorrow evening!
NB - Please only apply for this if you have the problems decribed above - this is designed to treat blemishes and we want to test it on suitable people!

i would like to volunteer. As someone who has suffered with bad acne since my early teens, i am desperate to try new products which may alieviate the situation. I think people sometimes see having the odd spot as acne, when in fact its much more horrible and affecting. So, thats my long-winded way of saying i would like to volunteer myself! Thanks! I would like o try those too. I have often blemishes and clogged pores on my skin. Drugstore brand have never helped me with this condition. Also I am putting together an article where I feature acne products I have used so far and how they were managing with my skin. It will be published in my blog and it would be very lovely to include these products into my article as well.

Hello!! First I have to say that I´m a huge fan of your blog and your videos.
I have been using La Roche Posay products for almost a year now and I'm in love with their Effaclar K cream, leaves my skin really smooth.
I´m 32 years old and I live in Barcelona, warm and humid weather, which means that for almost 5-6 months a year my skin always looks shiny.
I thought that when I turned 30 my blemishes would disappear and I would welcome my new friends: eye wrinkles. Luckily I don´t have any wrinkles but blemishes are still there (don´t they have anywhere else to go?)!!
I´d love to give this new product a try and write a review.

I would absolutely love to try this out! I am not in my teens anymore (23) but have had problems with blackheads for years and years which i think make my face look horrible - especially when buying expensive make up and it never covers it!! I also tend to get random spots every few days! Tried quite a few different treatments which are all laying half empty as never worked.
So long winded attempt to say.. i would love to volunteer.

I have a real problem with stubborn blackheads that nothing I've tried helps to shift, not so much of a problem with pimples though (only hormonal type mega zits!). I also have pretty sensitive skin... Anyway, if I'm suitable, I'm officially throwing my name into the hat!

Thanks guys - this is now closed. I have emailed the PR dealing with the product regarding whether they are willing to ship outside of the UK, and as soon as this has been clarified, I will be able to use random number.org to generate the two testers! xxx
