Tag - Fave FOTD!

I was tagged a couple of weeks ago for this by the lovely Stefanie to do this - Apologies for the delay! Stefanies blog is great, so pop over and check it out!

It's actually really hard to pick a favourite, but I went for this one because its bright and colourful, but still wearable, and I love this "One eye shadow blended out" look, makes a bit of a change from all that crease work, although I must add I'm a fan of that too - obviously it depends on how I'm feeling when I wake up lol!

You can read the full post with breakdown of products used etc here.

I tag - YOU!

I love your eye make-up look!

Oh geez, my favorite FOTD I've done is probably the one I wore for my Christmas Concert this year. I'm notoriously a nervous, twitching mess before concerts so if I can get eyeliner on straight, it's a mini-miracle. I wore (eye-wise) a taupe-y color on my lids, black liquid liner on top lid and mascara. I stuck to my tinted moisturizer (I hate hate hate the feeling of foundation. On top of neon pink lipstick, I cringe at foundation from my ballerina performance days), soft pink cheeks and deep red lips and red nails. I had to be Christmas-y someway since I couldn't wear the standard Santa hat with the boring black choir dress. No one managed to snag a photo though.

Maybe I should try persuading my choir prof. to let Zena come backstage with me so I'm not so nervous during concerts. I'm in choir as I'm a high-strung Autistic student and need to relax somehow but I hate concerts. I'm sure Zena's dog-statue-worthy looks would get her a pass backstage. Well, maybe the choir room as she hates loud noises (she has radar satellite ears).

Jen this look is fab. The colour suits you down to the ground and your skin looks glowing.

And I am so utterly jealous.

:-)

@Kate - gotta love red lip and nail combo - vampy, sexy and glam all at the same time - love it! I think you should do a FOTD showing us all your ballet nightmares lol - foundation and neon pink lipstick sounds lovely! Zena sounds a sweetie!

@Cat - aw, how can you be lol, with your fab skills!? xxx

@Tali - why thank you my love! I think its the contact lenses somehow making my eyes look more blue sometimes?

Ha ha ha ha ha, y'know, I have a picture of me in my mouse costume from the Nutcracker (with the accompanying make-up). I'll have to dig it out. I just hated wearing all the make-up. It's a texture/heaviness issue over anything else. I was berated by the MUA all the time during performances for Make-up Manslaughter!

But, until I can find the ballet picture (and scan it), here's the mandatory Zena photo from the obsessed dog owner:

@Stefanie - thanks so much - it was inspired a bit by Pixiwoo's single colour eye shadow look...

@Kate - Ah! I can see why you love your dog so much!

@Krista - thanks you! x
