Just a quick post to show you Revlon "Plum Night" on the nails - This is two coats, topped off with some Seche Vite and its the second day of wear... so far I'm impressed with the formula of this polish. As you can see its a very dark purple shade, and is a cream formulation, ie no shimmer, which is currently my favourite type of varnish - this will probably change though, what can I say - I'm fickle!
Close up above... as mentioned this is two coats, which has given good coverage - I've noticed it is slightly patchy on the base of my thumb nail, but I believe this is more due to my application technique (or lack of), rather than any problem with the formula, as its fine on the nails I managed to
daub on apply the polish to properly...
Love this colour for this time of year, and this to me seems fairly similar to the more expensive OPI Lincoln Park After Dark, but obviously more available and less costly... its also a very current colour, what with the current dark makeup trend etc.

I rushed to buy this after seeing the promo pics and was disappointed that it's not as vivid a purple as it looks on Jessica Alba's nails. I also noticed the patchiness too. I didn't use a top coat over it but will next time to get a nice shine over it.
@VexInTheCity - I agree, its def not a vivid colour, very dark, and almost black looking, but its nice when the light catches it...
It looks lovely on you! I love dark vampy shades and they definitely suit you! Creme finishes are also my favourite at the moment :) x
That looks very nice on your nails! I have only got one Revlon polish but I love it, love how ti applies so smoothly and lasts better than anything else I own so far on my nails. I tend to chip polish within a day or two usually, even with seche vite on top ;)
I agree with Vex in The City, I was disappointed. It's almost like Lincoln park after dark, and it was patchy too :( Shame the colour isnt more vivid. xx
I love it on you:) I have a very similar shade by Ruby and Millie and I love it. It's also great for toes in summer xx
I just bought China Glazes VIII and it is almost the same. I loved the colour in the bottle but inside it pretty much looks black. You need natural sunlight to really bring out that purple hue, which is when I like the colour most!
Nice colour and it looks very good on you. I think dark colours are a bit tricky in general but of course quality is the key.
Sexy vampy polish shade!!!
LOVE your taste in nail polish!!!!
xoxo
That is yum!
