Every so often, real life stops us from doing the things we love... and this is one such time...
In my other life as a nurse, I have to work nights every now and again, and I'm starting a couple of weeks worth of nights tonight, covering the delightful A&E Dept... My shift pattern is three nights on and three nights off for the next couple of weeks.
Now I had planned to draft up a few posts and publish them before going to work, but for various reasons that didn't quite work out - the main reason being parcels going missing and Royal Mail being completely incompetent.... But I've ranted on enough on twitter about that lol!
Anyway, I have lots of lovely posts planned-
- ELF studio haul and reviews (if Royal Mail ever manage to get the parcel here...)
- Illamasqua swatches of pigments and eye shadows (these will be pic heavy...)
- More Rouge Bunny Rouge (again, this is dependant upon the skill of Royal Mail to actually manage to deliver my parcel without loosing it or leaving it on a van somewhere...)
- Five great drugstore mascaras.
- St Moriz fake tan review and giveaway.
So think of me when you are tucked up in bed, as I will doubtlessly be dealing with someone in A&E...

Sounds like you have a fun-filled few weeks ahead.
Can't wait for the new posts
xx
Aw hope you have a quiet few weeks at working looking forward to the new posts especially the Illamasqua swatches x
How your schedule works out well!! Cant wait to see the Illamasqua swatches! xx
I'm on nights too! Not in A&E though, just on one of the elderly care wards. Hope yours are quiet (though I doubt it!)
wow, that sounds intense! I hope it is not too stressful for you. I look forward to reading posts when things calm down for you :)
I have a friend who I think does the same job as you, I'll have to chat to you about it one day. Good luck and I hope it's calm. I will think of you!
Is it wrong to be practically salivating at the thought of those posts? Hope the nights aren't too wearing on you.
The A&E Department is the Emergency Room part of a hospital, right? Maybe you could do one of your scary make-up looks so all the fakers run off in fear.
Ha ha, Royal Mail sounds like USPS. That's why if you have to send a package, most Americans go UPS or Fed-Ex. A few extra dollars for shipping security is better than going cheap sometimes. Zena has a habit of scaring all the postmen off with her barking. It's hilarious to watch these guys as they tense up for possible WWIII and they have no idea they're scared of a totally sweet 17", 34.5 pound lap dog. Stop, Ring and Run is the motto for postmen here. :)
Happy patrolling the A&E!
