Day three... 1920's and Modern Look.

I was very lucky today, as I got to work on both Sam and Nic.

This morning, we worked on period looks... I have always loved 1920's makeup - it ain't exactly pretty but this was the time when women decided to challenge the notion that only "ladies of the night" wore makeup, and really went for it. This look was great to do as I had (try) to erase Sam's brows and draw in a completely different shape. Normally in a picture these would be edited out too using photoshop etc...

I also worked on a more recent look on Nic in the afternoon...

I have some pics of the other fab looks created today and the other guys on the course have kindly agreed to allow me to post pictures of their work too... unfortunately they are on my camera, so will be posted next week!

Favourite products today included MAC paintpot in quite natural as an eye base (a warm brown) which deepened pigmentation without the harshness of a black base... Also easier to work with than blackground paintpot. MUFE aqua liners for both lips and eyes are really creamy but have good staying power, and Chanel's loose powder is lovely... Finely milled and undetectable but does what powder is supposed to do!

Wow, Sam looks so... strange with different brows! But her lips are stunning and the shape is perfect for the time period. Nic's eyes look great, too!

I'm so jealous that you're at the course, have some fun for me too!!
