Day 2!

Another fab day today with Sam and Nic, AKA Pixiwoo, as well as all the other lovely ladies at the fashion face tv makeup course.

Today's focus was on finishing the bridal looks we started working on yesterday. We also did a session on arabic and asian bridal looks, and the ubiquitous smoky eye...

I had a ball creating a bronzy, dramatic smoky with a twist this afternoon - Unfortunately I cant upload the pics at the moment, as I only have my net book here with me, and I can't upload pics from my current camera onto it. But there will be lots of pictures next week! The look I created was probably not the most wearable, but you know I like doing different things - it seemed pointless to simply do another bridal look layout with darker colours...

Favourite products today included Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara, and Clinique Black Honey gel eyeliner, I also loved the Louise Young round foundation brush for really buffing foundation into the skin and helping avoid the foundation "sitting" on the skin.

Also a few people asked on twitter last night about future courses. Sadly, for the time being Sam and Nic won't be doing any stand alone courses like this one again, but will instead be teaching for Muse, and covering fashion makeup for three days per week on their courses. If I hear any changes to this in the future, I'll be sure to pass on the info!

Oh, and since I can't actually upload any pics, I thought it might be nice to upload a picture I am lusting after recreating...

I love love love the eye in this look - I have the palette back at home to review, and I am going to have a try at creating a look inspired by it.
