Bonfires and toffee apples! I don't know about you, but bonfire night seems to go on for weeks round here - the local youths seem to revel in the fact that explosives are legally available to them for a few weeks... November also heralds the start of Christmas shopping, and the idea that I really should be spending less on me, and more on others - some days I did better than others at this. I'm a mere human after all...
- Max Factor released Second Skin foundation - like most foundations, you either love it or hate it. I love it!
- My love of Shu Uemura continued apace, with that Cat Powder...
- I fell in love with a couple of Urban Decay lipsticks...
- ... and completely OUT of love with a cartain NARS foundation.
- The most expensive tweezers ever (maybe) were launched.
- I got to play with some Hourglass products.
- The "Think Ouside the Box" Illamasqua contest launched.
- A very special film commemorating the life of Sophie Lancaster was released.

Love the Max Factor one and HOLYYYY crap the Shu addiction continues. Lord help us! :P
It's the same where I live. There's still fireworks going off weeks after! Fireworks are pretty, but after a while they do your head in :)
