Herbalife Nourifusion Multivitamin Eye Gel

Like a lot of people, my only prior knowledge of the Herbalife range was that it was some kind of herbal weight loss range I'd see from time to time on infomercials on occasions when I wake up on the couch in the middle of the night.The company now have a range of skincare products too, and I was recently sent the eye gel from the range to review, which is suitable for all skin types. I've been using the gel for about a month now, so its time to share my thoughts!

The gel contains a vitamin A, C and E complex which claims to deliver "optimised nutrition" to the skin;

"Vitamin A helps to improves skins moisture content promoting cell renewal and helping to prevent the signs of premature aging.
Vitamin C is a key component in collagen production. It has been shown to regulate pigmentation and boost the skin’s immune system.
      Vitamin E helps to protect the skin’s moisture barrier and smooth skin."

The gel also contains ginseng and cucumber extract for their refreshing properties. Unfortunately it also contains parabens, which some people have issues with too....

Previous experiences with eye gels have always been a little bit "nice but I'm not sure what I achieved there really". I've also noticed that they tend to "ball up" under makeup a lot.
I like the simple packaging - the tube is as always easy to use, and hygenic. The gel is slightly yellow in colour, rather than the usual clear gel. It sinks in easily and is refreshing, but not too "cold" feeling on the skin.

I do find that you need to use more of the product than you would of an eyecream - I'd use a but the size of a grain of rice for both eyes of a cream, but I'd use that amount on one eye of this gel... Once it sinks in, it doesn't "ball up" under makeup, so I like it in that respect too..

I terms of effects on my skin, I have noticed a slight reduction in puffiness in the undereye area, and I have also noticed that if I forget to use this for a couple of days, I look a bit "tired-er". I'm not really sure that the gel is worth the £23.20 price tag though. I'm also not sure this would work well for people who are very dry around the eye area.

Overall - I really like this product, but I do feel it is pricey - I'd feel more comfortable paying around £10-15 for it, and I'm aware that there are a lot of cheaper eye gels on the market with similar properties...

Yeah i agree with get gawjus. the price puts me off. i hate when eye gels/creams ball up under my make up, thats why i wish i didnt have to use one. i think the body elderflower eye gel is very good and i think its one of the only ones ive found that doesnt ruin under make up, but it has no anti wrinkle stuff in it so im not sure if im going to go back to it.
