The Good
- The amazing entries we have had so far for the Illamasqua contest! This combined with Illamasqua wanting to publish the pics of the winner on their lovely website has made my week!
- I know this is so last week, but seeing the smug smile slapped off Simon Cowell's face by Susan Boyle on 'Britains Got Talent' was almost as good as watching her sing!
- Body shop Chamomile eye makeup remover - feels like water but dissolves non-waterproof eye makeup easily and without rubbing.
- Having loveliness to look forward to in the shape of the Kool Kelly, Lovely Laura, and Effervescent Emma (see what I did there? Fromage - pure fromage!) who are coming to raid Liverpool city centre with me...
- Sir Alan Sugar and his minions! Yes The Apprentice is back... is it me though are all the girls on the show invariably backstabbers - don't get me wrong, the boys can be just as nasty but they are slightly more honest about it...
- My fab new digital video camera! Never before have I had the "HQ" button on my YT vids!
- Most reached for makeup - NARS albatros/orgasm powder blush duo; RMK Makeup base, Illamasqua cream foundation, BM mineral foundation, Sexy curves mascara, Miss Sporty eye gloss in "Flower" (shimmery, clear gloss - great for eyeshadow base or quick cheek highlight), MAC invisible setting powder, Body Shop lip butter...
- Secret summer santa!
The Bad
- Split days off - yuck! I am feeling so tired due to not having my days off together this week. Can't wait for Friday and Saturday
- Bloodshot eyes - why is this happening?
- Realising how appaling my skin looks in reality curtesy of the "HQ" button on YouTube.
- Having what seems like constant headaches for the past two days.
- Complete lack of gym/healthy eating motivation.
- Fear of the big 3-0... ever closer!
The Ugly
- The sudden and unexpected appearance of a load of spots on my chin! I haven't had a breakout since I was teenager, and I think it's possibly due to trying too many different products to try to get reviews done. Planning to have a simple skin-care regime and stick to foundations I know don't break me out for the next couple of weeks til it clears up...

Camomile make up remover - amazing!
I am still dying to get an entry in for your competition but my camera is in Dubai this week and there is no way i'm taking pics of my face on a camphone! Hopefully i will still get an entry in on time!
@saskia - oooh - I hope the camera comes back in time! So true about body shop camomile eye makeup remover - better than any other mid priced remover I've tried xxx
The HQ button does NOT make your skin look appaling, what utter rot you speak Jennifer!!! Hehe :) You know I love you...and for what it's worth, I thought you looked extra lovely close up :)
I'm intrigued about this eye make up removed...is it just for the eyes, or whole face...I know it says eyes...but what do you think?
May is going to be fabulous!

Kool Kelly here!! I like it lol.
@Laura... hmm, it says eye makeup remover, but I guess it's gentle enough for th face... maybe I will try it!
@kelly - lol, glad you liked it and sooo pleased you can come!
Breakouts suck! I have lots of spots on my cheekbones right now. probably due to all the stuff I use, too.
The random word verification on this post is so weird...
