The link to this was sent to me by a PR, and its not something I'd usually blog about, but I thoughtg this was a bit different... Makeup artists are often described as artists who use makeup as their media, (Alex Box for example), so it's interesting to see the media of makeup used in a bit of a different way...

It's brilliant but nothing ground-breaking. The American artist Eileen Hickey.Hulme already does real art works (I love her stuff) with make up tools, e.g. nail polish, eyeshadows or lipsticks. I've also met an Maxfactor make up artist who did abstract art on canvas with make up tools, too. I guess, it's the female attraction to divert something from its intended use in order to play more often with it. ;-)
