A recent perusal of the Boots aisles (sometimes I can loose hours of my life in there... and in Superdrug), revealed a brand I haven't seen or heard of before, so I can only assume its fairly new on the market.
The range appears to be aimed at fairly youngish looking skin, so a lot of it was not suitable for an old bird like me (at the "ripe old age" of 31 lol), but the mask looked interesting...
A read of the blurb on the back of the packaging reveals that this brand is the brainchild of beauty writer Alice Hart-Davis, "using her years of expertise in the beauty industry".
The mask also has a decent list of products which are NOT included...
As someone with normal-dry skin which gets dehydrated easily, I have to be careful about clay based masks as they often dry me out a little - this one does contain kaolin, so I had pretty mixed expectations.
I'm pleased to report though that the mask did not dry me out - it gave lovely results in fact...
In terms of consistency, the mask has a lighter looser feel than many other clay based, or even drugstore level masks in general. It spread onto the skin easily, and felt quite refreshing. As directed by the packaging, I left it on for five minutes and rinsed off with the aid of a muslin cloth.
The real surprise with this mask was that I noticed afterwards that my skin didn't just look clean, it looked fresh too, and it felt a bit tingly (in a pleasant way) around areas of congestion on my face - in other words, it felt like this was actually doing something to my skin both during and after application. Sensitive types might not like this though - that tingly feeling might feel a bit dodgy to some people... I think people with combination skin might like this too - not sure about oily skin but for a fiver, its worth a try!
One word of caution - this did "assist" a blemish in revealing itself to the world the next day, so don't use it before a big event!

The mask can be found in Boots, along with other products from the range, and I picked this up for £4.99. I'd definitely repurchase this one. Bargain!

Thanks for the review! It sounds lovely but i think i'd best avoid it. Anything that tingles on most people generally burns me :/
