I'm SO excited...!

My place is now all booked and paid for, everything is all confirmed, and I'm super excited!

What am I whittering on about? Well, I'm booked onto the Fashion Face.tv 1 week intensive makeup course in August, as taught by the Pixiwoo sisters. And I just cannot wait! (Find details of future courses by clicking HERE)

I've always wanted to do some form of training as a makeup artist, as I do enjoy being creative with makeup. I'm not sure what will come of it, but all I do know is that if I don't give this a try, I'll always wonder what might have happened, and what I might have been able to do. Realistically I know there are a lot of MUA's out there and it's a competitive market, so possibly not much will happen. But at least I'll know I've tried, and will have done something with the creative person lurking inside me... But then on the other hand, I do live close to two large cities, including Liverpool, where there will be no shortage of volunteers and (fingers crossed) eventual clients...

I think this is probably my favourite video from Pixiwoo's channel... although, it's a very hard choice, as there are so many creative looks on there.

... I love watching creative looks come to life like this, and so I suppose I'm hoping doing the course will help me to unleash the beginnings of being able to do that myself.

I'm not expecting miracles in a week, but it will be fab to learn some new techniques, as well as basic stuff like how to match foundation and build a kit. I'm also a little bit nervous, as I know that there will be people on the course with loads more experience than me. But I figure they started somewhere, so I have to as well. I just hope my attempts are not too comical when compared!

I'm hoping to do a few blogs and maybe even some vlogs from the week there, and fingers crossed get a bit of footage of the girls themselves...

So stay tuned!

Wow, I'm so jealous! I'd love to do that course, but taking a week off work to spend in London sadly isn't an option for me at the moment.

If you ever need a volunteer to practice on or for photos for your portfolio, or even just a constructive opinion on whatever you're doing, I'd be more than willing to help as I'm in Liverpool (I've emailed you in the past) x

I'd be just as excited if I was booked on the course!

Pixiwoo and Goss are the only people I watch on youtube now because they explain stuff so well.

I can't wait to see what you learn.
