So, it's week 3 now of using the Smooth Skin hair removal device, and I've definitely started to notice a difference. (Read my original post HERE) I've been using this on my feet/ankles, armpits and face, and I've noticed the most change in my armpits, where there are definite hair free patches. The facial hair seems to be taking the longest to start changing, but I guess as this is the least dark, and also the finest, that makes sense... I've also noticed that the remaining hair seems to grow back more slowly.
The device is easy to use, and the whole process of zapping face, armpits and ankles takes about 20-30 minutes. One minor issue I have with the design is that the lead between the pulsed light unit, and the base unit is quite short, which might be an issue if you were doing your legs with it. The gel is a little bit messy, but thats not really a biggie - I just keep a handtowel close to wipe it away, and throw that straight in the wash afterwards. Overall, I actually quite enjoy using it, as its something different too... and yes, I do know how sad that makes me sound. Oh, and to keep the head clean, I use a facial wipe, and a little disinfectant for hygiene...
